You've got your cover off, equipment connected, debris out of the pool & skimmer - you're ready to get your pool water clean, clear, and properly balanced.
Our pool opening chemical guide walks you through the recommended chemical steps in addition to your regular sanitation routine.
Follow the instructions based off your pool gallon capacity, allow the water to cycle for 48 hours, then bring us a water sample for testing. We'll help you make any final adjustments needed to get your water balanced and swim-ready.

More information will be available soon, we recommend you start considering closing when your pool water is clear and consistently 65 degrees. When you're ready, bring in a water sample and let us know you'd like to perform a closing analysis. Balance accordingly.
Do all housekeeping chores. Brush and vacuum. Clean the waterline with Off the Wall. Clean out the skimmer baskets and the hair/lint trap. Chemically clean your filter using Strip Kwik and Kleen It.
With your pump running, add the Arctic Blue shock from our Winter Kit. Wait one hour. Add Arctic Blue algae protector around the edges. Circulate for 2-4 hours. You're now ready to start winterizing your equipment.
